Hello …

Stories have always been a part of my life -  books held wondrous adventures that were almost as wild and crazy as the stories my dad would tell. It wasn't long before I picked up a pen and began weaving my own stories. 

My first love of writing was poetry. As a teenage girl, I recounted crushes, daydreams, and unrequited love with a rhyme and rhythm that mimicked every held breath and every heartache. Several poems were published during those years, and appear in the Treasured Poems of America, Where Dreams Begin, and American Poetry Annual anthologies.

Now, I am a multi-award winning children's book author. Outdoor adventures and cuddle-time moments with my grandchildren have inspired many of my heartwarming children's stories, some still awaiting publication.

Combining my love of God, His Word and His creation with my love of poetry and prose, I also write devotions for children of all ages. I am a contributing author to Christian Devotions.com, Arise Daily Devotions, and Guideposts.

I now live in South Carolina with my husband, Ralph.  We have three sons, three daughters (in-love), and five adorable grandchildren.

When I am not writing, I spend most of my time reading, traveling with my husband, loving on my babies, and capturing the beauty of God’s creation in photos.  My greatest loves are Jesus Christ, my husband and family, all little children, rainy afternoons and laughter.
